Founded on the conviction that individual freedom and human equality are both just as indispensable to human dignity and flourishing as the other, the Equal Freedom Institute is a 501(c)(3) think tank reinvigorating civil libertarianism for the 21st century. By bringing together thought leaders, policy makers, and engaged citizens, we unify and improve civil libertarian theory and practice to more effectively respond to today’s intellectual and political climate.
Our current work focuses on developing and advancing civil libertarian principles and policies in three key areas:
